Gulf War Memorial Stone

 

This May Only Be A Small Stone
But It Carries A Giant Message

 

This small memorial honors the veterans of the Korean, Vietnam and Gulf Wars collectively, but since it is currently the only memorial in the park which gives honor to the veterans of the Gulf War, it is simply known as the Gulf War Memorial.

The stone, donated by Larry Carter and the Friends of POW/MIA's, contains a plaque with the five service branch
 insignias and a POW/MIA insignia at either end.  It was dedicated in 1993 or 1994.

Larry Carter was a Combat Engineer with the 1st Cavalry.

It is with great thanks to the Lord that this memorial bears no names of the fallen from Lebanon County.
